House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi made history on the House floor Wednesday. The California congresswoman spoke on the floor for more than eight hours in protest of a budget proposal that does not address immigration or protections for Dreamers. The marathon speech was the longest House floor speech in history. Pelosi wants Republican Speaker Paul Ryan to bring DACA legislation up for a vote next week.
