The Senate Rules Committee is reviewing an independent investigation into sexual misconduct allegations against Senator Tony Mendoza and making their recommendations. The report was submitted on February 15th and goes into detail about allegations made against Mendoza who is currently on paid leave.
According to the findings, most claims against Mendoza were found to be more likely than not to have happened. Tomorrow the full report will be released to all members of the senate. He could be facing censure, expulsion, suspension, or possibly no discipline at all.
