A Stanislaus County man is accused of trying to help ISIS.
Prosecutors say 20-year-old Bernard Raymond Augustine of the small community of Keyes was originally busted in Tunisia in November 2016 for illegally entering that country with the intent to join the terror group in Libya.
He has now been returned to the U.S. to face charges of providing material support to ISIS and was expected to be arraigned in federal court in Brooklyn.
