Sessions To Address Sanctuary Policies During Sacramento Visit

Attorney General Jeff Sessions is scheduled to speak in Sacramento tomorrow and make what's called a "major announcement" about sanctuary jurisdictions.

Sessions will address the annual meeting of the California Peace Officers Association at the Sawyer Hotel.

Governor Jerry Brown signed a bill last year that made California a "Sanctuary State", which limits local law enforcement cooperation with federal immigration authorities.  Sessions called that bill "unconscionable."
