Bed, Bath & Beyond Accepting Toys 'R' Us Gift Cards Through Thursday

After Toys 'R' Us filed for bankruptcy last fall, we were all hoping the toy retailer that was a part of so many people's childhoods would be able to turn things around. Unfortunately, the sales never materialized during the holiday season, and in February, the toy giant announced it would close its doors forever, liquidating its stock.

With only a few weeks left, some people with Toys 'R' Us gift cards are wondering what they can do with them and fortunately, there's some good news on that front. There's at least one other retailer right now who will let you use the Toys 'R' Us gift cards - but you'd better hurry.

Bed, Bath & Beyond announced it would cease accepting Toys 'R' Us gift cards as part of its "Card Cash" program that customers use to turn gift cards from over 200 retailers into store credit.

The home goods store said they would continue accepting Toys 'R' Us gift cards through Thursday at 11:59 p.m. E.T. The credit issued by Bed, Bath & Beyond is worth less than what is on your gift card, but at least it's spendable. A $100 Toys 'R' Us gift card is currently worth around $64 in store credit. But, exchange rates at stores vary.

In order to qualify for the store credit, the gift card must be worth at least $20 and not have an expiration date. You can claim this offer by filling out this form, and your new gift card will be emailed to you.

Toys 'R' Us says they will honor their gift cards through April 21st.
