New Poll: California Voters Want Less Immigration?

A Pulse Opinion Research poll conducted late last month indicates that most California midterm voters want annual legal immigration numbers to be much lower.  The poll was funded by the organization NumbersUSA which advocates for less immigration in the United States.  NumbersUSA has also launched TV ads in California to raise awareness that current immigration policies are counter to what most voters want.

"We want California voters who favor LESS immigration to know that most of the state's voters agree with them -- as do most voters nationally," according to Roy Beck, president of NumbersUSA.

The pollsters says there's up to a 3 percent margin of error in the survey of 1,000 likely voters in California's midterm congressional elections next fall.
