A 3.9 earthquake hit just east of San Jose this morning. The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) reports that it hit about 9:40 a.m. right around the Alum Rock area.
Some took to social media saying they thought it would be larger than a 3.9. They also had a sense of humor about the situation.
