SF Officer Assault Suspects Found Outside KFBK Building

A man and a woman are in custody after a search in Sacramento that forced the lockdown of the iHeartMedia building.

Sacramento Sheriff's Department spokesman Sgt. Shaun Hampton says the pair are wanted in connection to an assault with a deadly weapon on a San Francisco police officer sometime Monday.

Their car was spotted by authorities in the Arden Fair area, it was stopped, the man taken into custody, but the woman ran away. She was eventually caught hiding under an SUV in the KFBK building parking lot after deputies, a K-9 unit and a helicopter were brought in for the search.

The woman was a least partially nude when she found, and she was taken to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. The man was also taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries.
