A fun-filled day of events and activities celebrating America's number one past-time food, The Taco. Sponsored by Eyeglass World, will have over 25 Taco vendors, two live stages, arts and demonstrations, Lucha Libre (professional wrestling), taco-eating contests, margarita garden, children's zone, and Northern California's one and only Chihuahua Beauty Contest. This is a pet-friendly event, but they must be in a leash. This event is endorsed by the City of Sacramento, the North Sac Chamber of Commerce, the Latino Professionals Development Project, SacLatino Magazine, Farmer's Insurance, and KDEE 97.5 FM. The Sacramento Taco Festival benefits the Vida de Oro Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to help adults and children succeed in the arts.
