The Sacramento Fire Department is battling a fire in a field near Sacramento International Airport. The fire began this morning near West Elkhorn Boulevard and Power Line.
By 1 o'clock, the fire department said flames had spread at least 156 acres. No structures are threatened. More than 50 firefighters are on scene and Copter 1 from Metro Fire is making water drops.
Officials are still not sure what started the fire.
