The California State Fair's monorail caught fire on Saturday afternoon.
Sacramento Fire Department officials said the operator was the only person on the train when the electrical fire sparked on one of the cars.
Members of the maintenance crew noticed that the monorail was experiencing problems and were attempting to take it around to where it could be removed from the tracks and inspected when the fire occurred.
