Local Las Vegas Shooting Survivor Lisa Fine Talks MGM Lawsuit

Lisa Fine, a survivor of the 2017 mass shooting in Las Vegas, is speaking out about a recently filed lawsuit against the victims of that tragedy.

"It is out of control and I think it's the worst move they've ever made," Fine says. "The backlash could be really bad for them."

MGM Resorts International, the company that owns the hotel where the gunman opened fire, is suing survivors of the tragedy and claiming it has no responsibility for one of the deadliest mass shooting in the country.

The lawsuit was filed in at least seven states and targets victims who have sued or have threatened to sue the company.

In addition to speaking out about gun violence, Fine also founded a nonprofit with other survivors of the Las Vegas mass shooting. Route 91 Strong provides financial and emotional support to survivors of gun violence.
