HIRZ FIRE (Shasta County)
The Hirz Fire is 25% contained at 28,078 acres. As of Sunday morning, the Hirz Fire was active near High Mountain, Oak Creek and the McCloud River to the north.
Evacuations: All evacuations have been lifted for the south half of the fire.
MENDOCINO COMPLEX FIRE (Colusa County, Lake County, Mendocino County)
The largest wildfire in California's history could be fully contained by this weekend.
The Ranch Fire is now 93% contained after burning over 410,000 acres. It's the largest of the two in the Mendocino Complex, which started just over a month ago and burned parts of four counties and 459,000 acres in Northern California.
The River Fire is the other fire forming the Mendocino Complex and that blaze is already contained. One firefighter died fighting the Ranch fire.
CARR FIRE (Shasta County,Trinity County)
Firefighters will continue to extinguish interior hotspots and secure the containment lines. Fire suppression repair is ongoing. Residents and the public are able to travel along State Route 299, however, they are asked to drive safely as fire crews and emergency personnel are still working in the area.
The fire is currently 229,651 acres in size and is considered to be 96 percent contained.
Three firefighters have died battling the Carr Fire; and Cal Fire reported that 1,079 residences; 22 commercial structures; and 503 outbuildings have been destroyed. Another 190 residences; 26 commercial structures; and 61 outbuildings have been damage.
CACHE FIRE (LAKE COUNTY)
Crews are battling a new fire that broke out in Lake County east of Clearlake Oaks. The Cache Fire began Sunday in the area of Highway 20 and New Long Valley Road, and has burned about 120 acres.
The blaze was 30% contained as of this morning, but Cal Fire said it had the potential to grow to about 400 acres.
No injuries were reported, no structures were threatened and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
