Former 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick is set to be honored by his hometown high school in Turlock.
Kaepernick and eight others will be inducted into Pitman High School's hall of fame on November 3rd.
Kaepernick starred in football, basketball and baseball during his senior year. He created controversy by kneeling during the national anthem before NFL games two years ago in protest of police brutality and social injustice, and hasn't played in the NFL since 2016.
