A bicyclist suffered "major, major injuries" after being hit by a car early this morning.
The bicyclist was crossing the street at the intersection of Watt Avenue and Potter Lane around 6 am. Witnesses told the California Highway Patrol they saw the car hit the bicyclist and carry him on the hood the car for a block before leaving the scene.
The CHP said witnesses reported the vehicle as possibly being a mini-van.
