A video taken by a patron of a Downtown Fresno Denny's has gone viral. In the video, a man who appears to be homeless is escorted out of the restaurant while other customers protested.
Denny's responded this afternoon, saying the man was removed from the eatery because has repeatedly eaten at that location without paying, according to the Fresno Bee.
The video was posted to Facebook late yesterday morning, and by today had over 100,000 views. The video shows a public safety officer in latex gloves telling a man to leave. Several diners at nearby tables questioned the officer, asking why he was being removed and if it was because he was homeless.
