Robin Williams' oldest son, Zak Williams, welcomed his first child with fiancée Olivia June on May 22. The new parents shared the news with People on Wednesday (June 12) and revealed how their newborn son's name pays tribute to the late actor.
Zak and Olivia named their son McLaurin Clement Williams. Robin's middle name was McLaurin. The new parents plan to call him Mickey for short. He weighed in at 8 pounds and measured 20-and-a-half inches at birth.
Zak's sister, Zelda Williams, photographed her nephew for People. She shared the photos on her Instagram account, adding a glowing caption about little Mickey.
"Meet Mclaurin Clement Williams, aka Mickey, aka Dr. Baby! He’s a squishably cute pterodactyl cooing tiny wonder and I love him so much already ♥️ big shoutout to Mickey on being the fastest swimmer, and huge congrats to [Zak] and [Olivia] on creating this little joy (and poop) factory," she wrote.
