Massachusetts Palm Reader Accused of Scamming Woman out of $70,000

Palm reader possessed

Police have arrested a Massachusetts palm reader after she allegedly scammed a woman out of $70,000 and multiple household items after that her daughter was possessed by a demon, the Somerset Police Department said in a statement.

Tracey Milanovich, 37, of Somerset, was charged earlier this week with larceny, obtaining property by trick and intimidation of a witness. According to the statement, the investigation began after a client reported that Milanovich tricked her into believing that her daughter had been possessed by a demon and the only way to banish the spirit was by turning over "large sums of money" and multiple household items. The woman reportedly brought Milanovich $71,000 in cash, as well as items from her home, including bedding and towels.

Milanovich, who owns Tracy's Psychic Palm Reader, was arraigned on Monday in Fall River District Court after the report from the client on Dec. 17. Milanovich was arrested by Somerset police on Dec. 27. She's been charged with six counts of obtaining property over $250 by trick, one count of larceny over $1,200 and one count of intimidation of a witness, police said.

The Somerset Police Department is encouraging anyone who believes they may have been scammed by Milanovich to come forward and reach out to the department.
