Light Balance will hold two free performances as part of the public grand opening at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, at the Event Center. Attendees must choose their performance and register for the free tickets athttps://www.atthegrounds.com/placereventcenter.

The 160,000-square-foot building – a bit bigger than the average size of a Costco store – is now one of the largest meeting spaces in the Sacramento region, able to accommodate everything from major amateur sports competitions, large meetings and even concerts.

The $34 million Event Center includes about 108,000 square feet of hardwood floors, which can hold 12 full-length basketball courts or 24 volleyball courts, complete with their own scoreboards. But the building can also be quickly converted to handle large meetings and trade shows.

Light Balance, an award-winning acrobatic and dance group that wears custom-made suits with high-tech neon and LED lights, was a Golden Buzz Award winner on America’s Got Talent.
