How the COVID-19 surge will affect holiday shopping

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, experts have predicted that holiday shopping will begin earlier this year. But with coronavirus cases in the U.S. continuing to rise, consumers are now being urged to start their holiday shopping now to avoid delays in shipment and product shortages.

In preparation, many retailers are beginning to start Black Friday deals early. Amazon will reportedly open Black Friday deals a day early, with other stores like Home Depot, Walmart, Target and more to do the same.
