Sacramento police have arrested a teen in connection with a Friday night shooting that killed two men inside Sacramento's Arden Fair Mall. Detectives have identified 18-year old Damario Beck as the gunman.

Brothers 17-year-old Sa'Quan Reed and 19-year-old Dewayne Reed have been identified as the victims of the shootings, according to family members. Investigators believe the incident started as an argument between two groups of people who knew each other.

Shoppers were quickly evacuated after shots fired Friday evening, and the mall remained closed until the following morning. According to Sacramento Police reports, there is a limited description of the shooter, who fled the area quickly after shooting.

At a Saturday vigil, speakers criticized Arden Mall for reopening a day after the incident, adding the mall had poor security. Community advocate Allegra Taylor offered some perspective saying people see young black men as thugs, but the Reed brothers were not. She and others described the Reeds as leaders at their school.

Police are still investigating and believe there are more witnesses and more people involved.
