NWS Sacramento: Strong Winds & Above Normal Temperatures Today

Strong north to east winds through Tuesday night.

With strong winds coming through the Sacramento region through Tuesday evening, expect the wind to impact burn areas and power outages due to falling trees, tree limbs and power lines. It's reported there will be a change by Friday of cooler temperatures, and a chance of rain and snow showers in the mountains by Saturday. Next week's weather patterns are expected to be cool and unsettled.

The strongest of the winds will come in until late Tuesday evening. The wind could reportedly cause impacts to burn areas and power outages due to falling powerlines
