Governor Newsom Unveils $12 Billion Plan For Housing Homeless

As part of Governor Newsom's $100 billion spending plan $12 billion will be spent on the homeless crisis. Governor Newsom expanded on his spending proposal, citing drug addiction and mental health disorders as main focus issues for his new program

According to NBC News, Newsom's largest proposal focus includes $8.75 billion to expand a California program that converts hotel and motel rooms and other properties into housing for people in need.
