A recent hiring by a Sacramento City Council member is raising eyebrows nationwide.
Councilwoman Katie Venezuela announced last Friday she is hiring local podcast host Skyler Henry to handle digital media and respond to constituents. Fox News published an article earlier this week detailing Henry's controversial past, which includes saying on the podcast "VOICES River City" that certain politicians should be terrified for the rest of their life, encouraging protests at their home addresses.
Councilwoman Venezuela explains Henry was just exercising his First Amendment right to free speech, and says he is the most qualified candidate for the position.
