With California officially reopening, there is still confusion about what businesses and individuals are expected to do.

Governor Newsom says if COVID cases spike, he may potentially step in with more restrictions.

People who have been vaccinated no longer have to wear a mask in most public settings - but there remains a question about who has been vaccinated.

Masks are still required in some settings, like public transit, the doctor's office or hospital, and some other restrictions are still in place for large indoor events. The governor says despite yesterday's reopening, we're not 100% done with COVID-19. Governor Newsom announced that the state would soon be rolling out a new "vaccine verification system"for private businesses that may be akin to a digital vaccine passport.
