As the region comes off triple digit temperatures over the weekend, highs will start dropping into the mid-80's by Wednesday. However, the Weather Service expects temperatures to climb back well into triple digits by Friday and into the weekend, topping out as high as 110.
High to very high heat risk will be possible with this weekās heatwave, with impacts reaching to the general population. Weather officials are warning those who live in areas affected by higher temperatures to prepare for this dangerous heatwave.
