A car crashed into a south Sacramento home early Monday morning, reports CBS13.

Neighbors say the car was involved in a high-speed chase before the car slammed into the home.

The incident occurred around 2:30 A.M. on Palmer House Drive. The suspect was in a high-speed chase on the street when they lost control of the wheel.

Property on several different homes was damaged when the driver sped out of control on Monday morning.

According to CBS13, the car took out a security fence to one house and then proceeded to slam into several other cars at another neighbor's home.

The garage and house of another home were damaged in the crash as well.

While there is not much information on the details of the incident, neighbors reported to CBS13 that the driver did seem to be intoxicated.

The driver was taken to the hospital after the crash but their condition was not released.

In total, the crash caused damage to five cars as well as the suspect's vehicle, along with a security fence, garage, and a home.
