Fallout Continues This Morning In Wake Of Land Park Murder

The fallout continues this morning in the wake of the murder of Mary Tibbits. 

The 61 year old woman was killed in her land park home in Sacramento. Police have arrested a repeat felon who was released from prison early for her murder. Tibbit's family and friends called her Kate. Her brother George read an emotional statement at the home where she was killed. A memorial is planned for 7 p.m. Thursday at PZ Cervantez Park, which is at 2115 11th Avenue in Sacramento.

Troy Davis, 51, faces six felony counts filed Tuesday in Sacramento Superior Court following the slaying of Mary Tibbitts, who went by her middle name, Kate, and had lived in her 11th Avenue home since 2012 along with her two dogs, Molly and Jenny.
