Northern California will be getting more rain and snow this week.
National Weather Service says the incoming storm will be much weaker than the previous ones. periods of moderate rain is expected for the Sacramento valley. Experts expect another round of precipitation starting Tuesday and continuing through Wednesday. Snow is also expected at low elevations. A few inches of snow will likely fall across the Central Sierra, beginning late Tuesday or early Wednesday.
Forecast information shows a slight chance of snow falling in El Dorado Hills, and an outside chance of snow in the Folsom foothills. It last snowed in Folsom in December 2009.
