A new COVID-19 anti-viral pill is available in Sacramento, but it's limited in both quantity and who can use it.
Paxlovid is now available in Sacramento County, but only to patients of UC Davis Health or via the county's primary care clinic. UC Davis is currently providing the pill only to its highest-risk patients who show mild to moderate COVID symptoms, and they must also be at high risk of hospitalization or death.
