  1. One school district does not have the resources to enforce a vaccine mandate. The Sacramento City Unified School District is going to continue all in-person classes regardless of student vaccination status. District officials said they don't have enough resources for students who need to enroll at the independent study program. The district told KCRA as of Saturday, more than three-thousand students didn't report their vaccine status.
  2. There are reports President Biden and President Putin will meet sometime this week amid heightened tensions between the two countries over a possible Russian invasion of Ukraine. Press Secretary Jen Psaki issued a statement last night where she said Biden agreed to conditionally meet with Putin. The condition is that Russia doesn't proceed with its invasion of Ukraine. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Russia's Foreign Minister are set to meet this week in Europe, but only if Russia doesn't invade.  
  3. A string of semi-trucks modeled after the recent convoy in Canada has announced it's starting its convoy Wednesday in Adelanto. Organizers say they'll drive from Adelanto to Washington DC to protest what they call unconstitutional mandates for the COVID-19 vaccine and masks. They say their protest will be a peaceful one and will begin Wednesday morning at Adelanto Stadium.
  4. Northern and Southern California are set to receive snow this week. A cold front approaching the state is expected to bring scattered rain, wind and light snow starting this week.
