At least 19 children and one employee were hurt when an SUV crashed into a daycare Thursday afternoon in Anderson, California.

In Anderson, about 150-miles north of Sacramento, fourteen children were taken to hospitals, and at least two have received intensive care in Sacramento. The SUV crashed into the main area of the preschool where all the children were gathered. According to the Redding Record Searchlight, one of the injured children had been trapped underneath the vehicle that crashed through one of the building’s walls into the main area of the school, and one of the preschool employees was also injured in the crash and hospitalized. The Record Searchlight also reported that two of the children were taken to UC Davis Medical Center’s pediatric intensive care unit.

The driver was local woman and police say she was not under the influence. “The driver was cooperative and released after providing a statement,” police said.
