Farmers and ranchers are taking a look at how the war in Ukraine, and soaring fuel prices, are affecting them.
Ryan Schohr runs the Schohr Ranch in Gridley where they grow walnuts and rice. He says the war in Ukraine will drive up the price of rice in the United States - in Ukraine, massive amounts of wheat is grown that is shipped around the world. Now, wheat production in Ukraine has stopped, skyrocketing the price - Schohr says that means the price of rice will also go up as well.
