Tom Sizemore, known for his roles in Saving Private Ryan and Natural Born Killers, passed away, his representative Charles Lago confirmed to CNN.

He was 61.

Sizemore was hospitalized after suffering a brain aneurysm last month and remained in a coma and on life support since then. Doctors told his family earlier this week there was "no further hope" and recommended "end of life decision" due to his declining health.

He "passed away peacefully in his sleep," Lago said. His twin sons, Jagger and Jayden, 17, and his brother Paul Sizemore were by his side at Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, California, at the time of his death.

"I am deeply saddened by the loss of my big brother Tom. He was larger than life. He has influenced my life more than anyone I know. He was talented, loving, giving and could keep you entertained endlessly with his wit and storytelling ability. I am devastated he is gone and will miss him always," Paul Sizemore said in a statement.

Some of Sizemore's early work includes Lock Up (1989), Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man (1991) and Point Break (1995). While he is most known for his role in Saving Private Ryan, Sizemore also recently appeared in Netflix's Cobra Kai and indie film Impuratus.
