  2. The Sacramento Business Journal is reporting that a massive research park is moving forward for Woodland with ties to UC Davis. A series of public meetings will begin in a couple of weeks to discuss the 350 acre scientific research park that will include more than two million square feet of commercial and office space, along with 1,600 homes and up to 7,000 jobs.   3. The discovery of a Chinese-owned medical facility illegally operating a lab near Fresno has raised concerns about China's potential development of bio weapons on American soil. An alert code enforcement officer noticed a hose hooked up to the warehouse a few months ago and once inside, investigators found vials of contagions and hundreds of mice kept in "inhumane conditions".   4. The infamous bear known as "Hank the Tank" may have finally been captured in South Lake Tahoe. And, the "Hank" name may no longer fit. It turns out, the bear is a female with three cubs. Wildlife officials say the bear will not be killed since she has cubs. Click here to read more.
