- The discovery of a Chinese-owned medical facility illegally operating a lab near Fresno has raised concerns about China's potential development of bio weapons on American soil. An alert code enforcement officer noticed a hose hooked up to the warehouse a few months ago and once inside, investigators found vials of contagions and hundreds of mice kept in "inhumane conditions".
