  1. A California Lawmaker is pushing a new measure to stop the practice of releasing sexually violent prisoners, if they have no place to go. Assemblyman Joe Patterson (R-Rocklin) along with fellow Republicans, have introduced the measure.   2. Sacramento Mayor Darrell Steinberg will present his third and final forum for the State of the City. Today's conversation is about affordable housing, fixing roads and addressing issues with public transportation. Click here for more.
  3. Donald Trump has returned to X by posting his own mugshot. The former President and current candidate surrendered in Georgia to face criminal charges for his alleged efforts to overturn the state's 2020 election.
