  4. The Sacramento City Unified School District and its workers' union have reached a deal to increase salaries. The agreement with the Service Employees International Union is retroactive to the previous school year. A ten-percent pay boost, retroactive to July 1st of 2022, will be going to bus drivers, custodians, instructional aides, food service workers, and others. Click here to read more.
