A California woman is facing charges after she allegedly stabbed her boyfriend near a movie production set. The incident occurred March 21 at Vickroy Park in Burbank, where a film crew was shooting a scene, according to a police statement.

The suspect, identified as 33-year-old Michelle Chicco, was reportedly naked at the time of the attack. Officers said the woman stabbed the victim several times during an altercation inside their home on West Monterey Avenue. Witnesses claim she chased her bloodied boyfriend out of their home and into the park, wielding a knife.

A Burbank police officer, who was hired by the film crew for security, confronted Chicco at gunpoint and stopped the violent chase, a member of the film crew told KTTV. The victim was rushed to a local hospital, where he underwent surgery. Police said he is currently in serious but stable condition and is expected to survive.

Chicco was arrested at the scene and booked into jail for attempted murder. She's being held on a $1 million bail.

The film crew told reporters they initially thought the nude woman was part of a different movie recording nearby. Residents and park visitors were also left shocked over the wild incident.

"That’s wild," Miguel Torresblanco, a park visitor, told KTTV. "We never see that kind of thing here in Burbank. For the most part, it’s a very quiet city."
