Then at 8pm when polls close, KFBK's Kitty O'Neal rejoins the programming with Mike Luery. They will have election results and analysis until 10pm. Our election night coverage has a stacked lineup of experts, stategists from both sides of the political aisle and phone interviews with many of the key candidates for congressional races, gubernatorial races, and local races. Mike Luery is KFBK's political correspondent. Mike can be heard frequently on KFBK, filling in for Kitty O'Neal on the KFBK Afternoon News. Mike also provides political analysis and live coverage of elections for KFBK. Previously, Mike served as the political reporter for KCRA-TV and NBC Bay Area, covering the state Capitol and reporting on Governors Gavin Newsom, Jerry Brown, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Gray Davis and Pete Wilson. Mike has been on the air broadcasting in TV and radio for more than 35 years.
Marva Diaz is the owner and publisher of the California Target Book, a political data think tank, and the founder of Marva Diaz Strategies. Diaz is a public affairs and campaign professional with nearly 3 decades of experience in California politics.
Amanda Blackwood is the CEO of Blackwood Strategies. She is the former President & CEO of the Sacramento Metro Chamber of Commerce and has spent her career advancing pragmatic pro-business, and public safety policies. Blackwood is also the host of A Solvable Problem here on KFBK and a regular fill-in for John McGuinness.
Roger Salazar is the president of ALZA Communications and a Democratic strategist. Salazar was the campaign press secretary for former Governor Gray Davis. He also worked in the White House under President Bill Clinton, and later handled media relations for Xavier Becerra when he was California Attorney General.
