Disney's California Adventure Park Reopening Next Month

Disney's California Adventure theme park will be reopening it's gates after nearly a year of being closed down due to California's Coronavirus restrictions on theme parks. For the 20th anniversary of the park's opening, officials announced a ticketed food and entertainment event that will allow people back in the park and employ over one-thousand park employees who have been out of work for almost a year. "limited-time ticketed experience"Disneyland Resort President Ken Potrock made the announcement saying the event will be a "limited-time ticketed experience" and will be offered multiple days a week. The specific dates have not been announced. Most recently outdoor dining has resumed at Downtown Disney, re-employing over 350 Disney employees after the lifting of California's regional stay-at-home order. Details about what the event will look like have not been released at this time, however the first event is slated for mid-March.

There is a proposed bill in the California legislature that is pushing to get theme parks reopened, including Disneyland, California Adventure and Knott's Berry Farm.
