He still feels the need for speed and he's in Tahoe filming action scenes for his next big movie. Tom Cruise and the production for Top Gun 2 will be in Tahoe for a couple of weeks. Cruise is reportedly shooting scenes running through the forest. He's also shot some dialogue up in the mountains overlooking the local airport, which is just south of the lake. Cameras are suspended between trees to capture Tom running through the woods, and lots of military aircraft are landing at Lake Tahoe Airport for the shoot. Of course Maverick doesn't have Goose around anymore but lots of extras with military backgrounds are part of the cast.
