The first ever all all female spacewalk planned for this Friday was cancelled because NASA didn't pack the right-sized spacesuits. Astronauts Anne McClain and Christina Koch were scheduled to continue installing lithium-ion batteries for the International Space Station's solar energy system...the problem? Only 12 of the 38 current, active astronauts are women so there aren't that many medium sized space suits and only one is available for this Friday. Anne McClain will use that suit and be partnered with a Canadian male astronaut to complete to the work. The all woman spacewalk will have to wait.
