Regulators in California are working on plans to get rid of gas powered cars. In this segment, we spoke with Dan Sperling, who directs the Institute of Transportation studies at UC Davis. He is also a board member of the California Air Resources Board. He tells us that the state is looking at the idea but getting rid of gas powered cars is still a few decades away.
