There will be new opportunities for hunters and anglers this year as the federal government prepares to open 1.4 million acres to hunting, boating, fishing and hiking. New access to seven California refuges is expected by this Fall including: 1,371 of the Sacramento Wildlife Refuge and Stone Lakes National Wildlife Refuge. The clip below is a conversation with our own outdoor expert, Bob Simms, and you can link to the entire list of proposed land openings here: 2019-2020 Station-Specific Hunting and Fishing Proposed Rule National Wildlife Refuges and National Fish Hatcheries Narratives.
You can catch Bob Simms "Outdoor Show" on KFBK every Saturday morning from 5am to 8am.
