Our local newspaper, The Sacramento Bee, had been NOT delivering our newspaper for a couple of weeks (among other mishaps) and sent this notice Friday with the paper (see below). My route has been "unassigned." This happens when there are too many complaints from a customer, or too many requests for the paper to be delivered to your door...and not tossed on the wet grass or driveway. OK...I get it. What I don't understand are the typos/spelling/grammar mistakes in this letter...starting with to...instead of too...at least twice.
There are more...but seriously, a paper doesn't have a copy editor to check these things out before you send a letter to a customer who is thissss close to canceling his subscription?
