It's happened again. Our local newspaper, The Sacramento Bee, is NOT delivering our newspaper. Two weeks ago, our Sunday paper was delivered on WEDNESDAY. I've called "customer service," and been told my paper would be delivered later that day, and it wasn't. I've left messages on the automated system, and no response.
Awhile back, I found out my route has been "unassigned." This happens when there are too many complaints from a customer, or too many requests for the paper to be delivered to your door...and not tossed on the wet grass, driveway, or it doesn't show up at all. I just want the paper I've paid for!
I've come to the point where I want to cancel my subscription, but I LOVE reading a newspaper on the weekend. I'm tired of talking to "customer service" experts who tell me my business is important to them, but sound like robots reading off a script. What would you do?
