Hope you had a great Thanksgiving weekend. It was my second as a "new" husband, and we managed to cram in a lot. First of all, my wife's turkey turned out AMAZING!
Then we all went to see the movie "Wonder," the story of August Pullman, a boy with facial differences who enters fifth grade, attending a mainstream elementary school for the first time. Yes, make sure you take a box of Kleenex.
Saturday we went out for a great dinner, then saw the Kings take on the Clippers. Great seats, but the Kings lost in the final seconds!
Sunday was a lazy day. It was raining, so we stayed home all day, watched a movie, and my son taught me how to play electronic Battleship (he won), but I'm demanding a re-match.
It really was a great holiday weekend. We also managed to get some yard work done, and watch the neighbors put up all their Christmas lights and decorations, so now my wife wants me to get ours up (well, the few we have), ASAP. Our neighborhood is VERY competitive when it comes to decorating for Christmas, but that's a blog for another day.
