After five months, Doggy Dash, and a Mega Adoption Event, Amy is STILL calling the Sacramento SPCA home. So of course we had to give her a new homey kennel make over!
However, this patient girl hasn't lost hope and knows her forever family is out there somewhere, they just haven't met her yet.
Amy also knows that sometimes love finds you when you stop looking, so she has spent the last five months tirelessly working on herself. Her hard work is paying off and he has lost an astonishing 20lbs! But, of course, Amy is not all work and no play. She is much wiser than that at 10 years old. However, she doesn't act a day over six!
Amy hits the town weekly making regular appearances at Yappy Hours and other community events. She is always quick to make friends with children and even other dogs, but she isn't interested in making any feline friends.
Who knows, maybe one day soon she will meet her future family. We are all rooting for her.
