Rowdy starts off a little reserved with strangers, but once he gets to know you, he becomes wiggly, huggable, and very affectionate---he loves belly rubs.
Rowdy has been described as "a big dog with lots of puppy behavior" left in him. Despite his puppy-like ways, this boy already has lovely leash manners, knows several commands (using hand signals), and he's very attentive to his people.
While he might get along well with another friendly dog, since he lived with dogs at his previous home, he's a little too fond of chasing cats and small animals. He'd do best without them.
