Lucy is a 3-year-old, 60 pound dog who is looking for her new home. Lucy has been a bit shy at the shelter, but for many dogs it can be quite an overwhelming place to be! However, she warms up quickly and enjoys being around people, getting pets and treats.
She is a younger girl and loves to play, but she tends to forget how big she is as she runs around our play yards. According to her previous owner, Lucy is a sweet girl and housetrained. In her next home, Lucy would prefer to be your one and only canine companion, as other dogs tend to make her uncomfortable, but she does have a history of living successfully with cats!

Adoption Process: At 9:00 am each morning a link will go live atsspca.org/dogsabove where you can schedule an appointment to come down to the shelter that day to meet an available animal. Animals pictured on this page may be adopted prior to your appointment time. Shelter staff will let you know when you arrive what animals are still available to be adopted and any special considerations the animal might have. Only one animal may be met with per family, per day. Once you have finished a counsel and a meet-and-greet, you will be able to adopt.
